As part of the Premier League Primary Stars programme, the children enjoyed coaching sessions as well as a tour of the stadium.
The programme aims to inspire children to learn, be active and develop important life skills with YTCST spending time with local schools to deliver fun, educational sessions in a range of subjects.
After heading to the home of the Glovers, YTCST Manager, Sara Bradley, commented: “As part of our Premier League Primary Stars programme, we have engaged with 324 boys and girls from our partner schools and local primary schools at our Football Festivals over the last two days.
“We have received nothing but positive praise from the staff and pupils who attended and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
“I would like to thank the club for their help with hosting the events, Darren Way for his incredible support as always and the twelve junior leaders from Buckers Mead Academy.
“Finally, I would like to say a massive thank you to my team of staff who work tirelessly to provide fantastic opportunities for children in our community through events like this and the other programmes that we deliver within our community.”
