Yeovil Town are pleased to announce the loan signing of Liam Walsh from Premier League side Everton.
18-year-old Liam has penned a deal with the Glovers that will see him stay at Huish Park for a month.
Evertonfc.com describe Liam as a central midfielder who is comfortable on the ball with a great range of passing and is dangerous from set-piece situations.
He was just five years old when he joined Everton and scooped the Club’s 2013/14 Academy Goal of the Season award for a well-rehearsed strike.
Manager Darren Way said: "Liam has come highly recommended to us by Everton and David Unsworth, we have previously had both Shane Duffy and John Lundstram on loan from the Blues so know the quality they produce.
"I would like to thank all the staff at Everton, especially Roberto Martinez for allowing Liam to join us. There were a number of clubs interested in signing Liam, so it is nice to secure his signature and hopefully all his attributes will add to our team and help this fantastic club stay in the Football League."
The club would like to thank main sponsor Jones Building Group for their backing in helping us secure the signature of Liam.
Last season, Liam scored from the half-way line in a game against Derby County. The video can be seen below or by clicking here.
