The Welshman limped out of the Glovers’ 3-1 win at Morecambe last weekend with a hamstring injury which saw him miss the draw at Barnet.
Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro also sat out of the game against his parent club at the Hive, but is now available for selection.
“We don’t think we’ll have Lawless available,” Way told YTFC.net.
“He’ll be out unless he makes a miraculous recovery but unfortunately I can’t see that happening.”
Way added: “Jean will be back which is good.
“We did miss him at Barnet, certainly as far as experience is concerned.”
Brandon Goodship returned to the bench in midweek after fully recovering from a foot injury and could feature Saturday, but the fixture comes too soon for Otis Khan (ankle) and Nathan Smith (knee) who are both back in training.
