We had 40 goals last weekend and we look set for another action packed weekend in the Sky Bet Championship. Read on for Sky Bet’s take on Yeovil’s chances this weekend.
Yeovil have been showing encouraging signs in recent weeks and could easily have taken something from their game against the leaders last weekend.
The Glovers have produced some of their best performances this season on the road. They’ve already won at Millwall and were unlucky not to get more from trips to Ipswich and Sheffield Wednesday. They now travel to rock-bottom Bolton, who are yet to win this season, and have not kept a clean sheet in 13 games. With The Trotters in such miserable form Yeovil will fancy their chances of taking something back with them, and look worth backing on the double chance market at evens.
We probably shouldn’t expect a high-scoring affair at the Reebok Stadium, with three of Bolton’s home games this season seeing fewer than three goals. That has also been the case in six of The Glovers eight matches this term, five of which have been goalless at half-time. Given both teams have been better defensively than going forward this season, under 2.5 goals looks a great price at evens.
Other reasons to bet:
Yeovil have had more goals in the second half in six of their last eight matches 1/1
Yeovil have been level at half-time in five of their last eight matches 5/4
