Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust are appealing for fans to pedal for pounds and raise thousands for three charities by getting on their bike and cycling from the Riverside Stadium to Huish Park for the last home game of the 2013/14 Season.
The Glovers entertain Middlesbrough on Saturday, 3rd May and want keen cyclists to take to the saddle to cover the 334-mile trip to Huish Park in the 4/5 days leading up to the match.
The challenge will see riders raise funds for Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust, St Margaret’s Hospice and Prostate Cancer UK.
YTFC Get Pedalling 2014 held a Launch Night on Thursday 19th September in the Alec Stock Lounge at Huish Park, which was a great success with manager Gary Johnson amongst a host of speakers.
Last year’s ride was extremely well organised and those who took part not only thoroughly enjoyed themselves but said it was the best ride they had ever been on!
Please consider taking part in this challenge, sponsor someone, or spread the word to your family and friends. Your support will not only raise thousands of pounds for the three chosen charities.
The fundraising events kick off this Saturday (5th October) with a Race Night at Nuffield Health. Tickets cost just £5 and are available from the reception at Nuffield Health. The first race starts at 7.30pm.
