Yeovil Town can confirm that Alex John has joined Hull on loan until the end of the season, with an option to make the deal permanent.
After signing his first professional contract in May last year, John will still have one year left on his Yeovil Town contract following the conclusion of his loan spell if the Tigers decide not to make the deal permanent.
The 18-year old is yet to make a first team appearance for Town, but is a well-known face at Huish Park due to his success in the academy and with Gosport Borough.
Commenting Head of Academy, Terry Skiverton said;
“With the fast tracking of Alex’s development within the academy, we feel it’s a good opportunity for him to go to a club at a Championship level and further his development.
“After enjoying a very successful loan spell at Gosport Borough, we feel this is a deal that suits both parties and Alex’s progression within the game.”
