Job title: Professional Development Phase Lead Coach
Responsible to: Academy Manager
Location: Huish Park, Yeovil
Job Purpose: To oversee the development and recruitment of players from the ages 16-18. The role is to oversee the transition of players from the Youth development Phase into the Professional Development Phase. The role holder should then prepare players to enter the Senior Development Phase.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Hold the minimum of a UEFA A Licence
Prepared to work for self advancement
Must be able to communicate with players aged 5-18 and their parents
Have a sympathetic yet disciplined approach
Create an exciting , safe and enjoyable environment
Be enthusiastic
Job title: Academy Coach
Responsible to: Phase Lead Coach
Location: Huish Park, Yeovil
Job Purpose: To develop a specific age group in the philosophy, playing style and value of Yeovil Town Academy. The role holder should implement coaching techniques and tactics shown in the Academy Coaching programme in training sessions and matches.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Hold the minimum of a UEFA B Licence
Hold or working towards a FA Youth Award
Prepared to work for self advancement
Must be able to communicate with players aged 5-16 and their parents
Have a sympathetic yet disciplined approach
Create an exciting , safe and enjoyable environment
Follow and endorse the Club’s ‘Code of Conduct’ policy
Be punctual at all times
Be enthusiastic
Job title: Academy Goalkeeper Coach
Responsible to: Head of Coaching
Location: Huish Park, Yeovil
Job Purpose: To develop the goalkeepers in the philosophy, playing style and values of Yeovil Town Academy. The post holder should implement coaching techniques and tactics shown in the Academy Coaching Programme in training sessions and matches.
Skills and Knowledge Required:
Hold the minimum UEFA B
Working towards FA Goalkeeping B Licence
Prepare to work for self advancement
Must be able to communicate with players aged 5-18 and their parents
Have a sympathetic yet disciplined approach
Create an exciting, safe and enjoyable environment
Be enthusiastic.
