Yeovil Town are unlikely to have Olufela Olomola to call upon on Saturday evening according to Darren Sarll.
The forward, who recently signed on loan from Hartlepool, was forced off with a knock in the Glovers’ draw with Maidenhead earlier this week.
When asked about the forward’s condition, the boss said; “Fela’s been great for us, he just needs that resilience through games to regain his fitness. This was shown the other night when we had to bring him off.
“I don’t think he’ll make Saturday, but that will be beneficial for him, in the same way we’ve worked with Lawson (D’Ath), it will be beneficial in the long-run.”
It’s been a bright start to life on the pitch for Olomola since returning to Somerset, as he struck his first goal of his loan spell against Maidenhead.
However, with his recent lack of game-time at parent club Hartlepool, Sarll believes his no.10 needs to build-up his game-time.
“He hasn’t played consistently for three years, I don’t think he’s played more than 15 games in a season for that period.
“We need to make sure that he’s built to be resilient and robust and can carry on throughout the rest of the season for us.”
