The 21-year-old, who signed a new two-year deal in the summer, has formed part of a forward unit who between them have netted 16 goals in 10 matches.
Town are unbeaten in four matches at Huish Park and face Port Vale at home on Saturday (3pm).
Khan is happy with his own performances so far and insists if the Glovers become a more balanced outfit, they will pick up a lot of points.
“I think I’ve started fairly well,” he told iFollow Glovers.
“I’ve scored three goals to now and I’ve created a few chances but I know I can do more.
“I’ve just got to keep improving for the team and keep being positive.”
Khan added: “One of the main problems last year was the lack of goals. This year we’ve got good attacking players and the goals are coming.
“We know that if we set up right at the defensive end then we know we’ll be winning a lot of games so it’s about keeping that consistency going.
“You need balance. If you don’t have it, you will draw a lot of games or not win games. Once you get the balance and consistency, it’s perfect.”
Port Vale are currently bottom of the table after a winless run of seven matches.
The Staffordshire club sacked manager Michael Brown last weekend and Khan feels Yeovil need to be patient to overcome them in Somerset.
He said: “We know they’re struggling at the moment so they’ll be very solid at the back and set up quite defensively.
“We just have to be calm in possession and we know the chances will come so when they do we have to make sure we take them.
“We have to be solid at the back ourselves and make sure we don’t concede from set-pieces – that’s the big one.”
