Huish Park welcomed its biggest crowd of the season on Boxing Day as 6,086 supporters witnessed Yeovil’s goalless draw with Exeter City.
It was also the largest turnout of the calendar year and was last bettered when Bristol City visited in March 2015 (6,591).
A sold out away end is expected when Portsmouth visit Somerset on Friday (7.45pm) and Way is hoping the YTFC faithful turn out in force again, as they have done so often.
Way said: “I keep saying how brilliant they’ve been but they have supported me and the group immensely during 2016.
“Their vocal support and commitment to the players is great and their support really highlights the ethos of ‘Achieve By Unity’.
“I’d love another big crowd on Friday because it will certainly be value for money and the players will give everything to end the year with a win.”
Everyone at YTFC would like to thank you all for your continued support.
