Having spent the first half of the 2018/19 campaign across the border in Devon with Exeter City, the 20-year-old was recalled to Carrow Road to allow the Glovers to capture the striker’s services.
Staying in Sky Bet League Two, Abrahams netted twice in 23 appearances for the Grecians including a goal on his debut on the opening day of the season against Carlisle.
The Londoner becomes the second Norwich striker to sign on loan this season following Diallang Jaiyesimi, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in October.
A graduate through Leyton Orient’s academy, Abrahams made his EFL debut for the O’s in March 2017 and scored in back-to-back matches the following month to attract the attention of the Canaries.
Moving to Norfolk for an undisclosed fee in the summer of 2017 he bagged nine goals in 27 appearances for their Under-23s, prior to a return to senior football with a loan spell at St James Park.
Pleased with his latest addition to the squad, manager Darren Way told YTFC.net: “Tristan is very good technically and is an honest and hard-working player.
“He adds a different dimension to our attacking options and I’m delighted to have him on board and continue the link with Norwich.”
Fellow Canaries striker Jaiyesimi has today officially been recalled from his loan spell at Huish Park, as he continues his rehabilitation at Carrow Road. All at YTFC wish DJ all the best for the future.
