Rhys’ dad Steve, who was a Glovers fans’ favourite in the 1990s, lost his battle with cancer in 2016 and the winger is now raising money in his dad’s name.
Having ‘braved the shave’ to make a stand against cancer, Browne is now accepting donations to go towards the Foundation which aims to support young people in North and East London (communities which were close to Steve’s heart).
Donations can be made directly to the Foundation by clicking here with YTFC supporting Rhys this Saturday by holding a raffle with all proceeds going to the charity.
Supporters are able to buy raffle tickets for £1 each from the marquee, all tea bars or the hospitality bars inside Huish Park to be in with a chance of winning a signed 2018/19 home shirt.
The draw will be at half-time during Town’s Carabao Cup tie against Aston Villa with Rhys also present in the marque ahead of kick-off this Saturday for fans to make donations and to have a chat!
