Yeovil Town’s official matchday programme ‘Green&White’ has been receiving more plaudits from the football programme world.
In their latest issue, Independent View Football Programme Magazine feature ‘Green&White’ in a four-page centre spread, pictured, as well as awarding it runner-up for the Programme of the Month award for September.
In the feature Independent View editor Neil Patterson states: “Green and White the 72-page official Matchday Magazine of Yeovil Town Football Club sells at a price of £3, and is well worth the money when you look inside. The front cover has a very impressive appearance with a superb effective design. The black background contrast well with the green and white block capitals of the title.
“I really like the look of this cover and hope with great anticipation I would be just as suitably impressed with the content.”
Patterson goes on to review all the content of ‘Green&White’ and finishes by saying: “In summing up, this publication is unique in the fact it is not only a high standard magazine of good quality but that it is a fine example of what a good matchday magazine should be like.
“The diversity in the design of the different pages shows great creativity and the effective use of the colours green and white gives this programme its own individual character.
“All the features are well thought out and make the magazine very stylish. It certainly is special and credit to the editor, the editorial team and all those involved in producing such an original publication. Well done to everyone for doing such a commendable job.”
This excellent review comes off the back of recognition from the Northern Programme Club who recently awarded ‘Green&White’ third place in this season’s League 1 Programme of the Year awards, as well as several accolades over the past few years.
Editor of ‘Green&White’ Adrian Hopper said: “We are delighted to receive such positive feedback from Independent View. We believe ‘Green&White’ is a very high quality product and it is good to get such high praise from the programme world.
“We have a great team who put their heart and soul into producing the programme and in particular I’d like to thank our main production team of Jonathan Hopper, Pat Custard and Martin McConachie who are the key people behind the scenes who make ‘Green&White’ such a great programme.”
