The 22-year-old made ten appearances for Town in a loan spell scoring once in a 1-0 win over Dagenham & Redbridge.
Goodship is used to boss Darren Way’s 4-3-3 system and is hoping to make a major contribution in the second half of the campaign as the Glovers strive to climb the Sky Bet League table.
He told YTFC’s official YouTube channel: “When Yeovil contacted Bournemouth and my agent said about it happening I was more than keen to take the opportunity.
“The gaffer drummed into us last year the way he wants us to play and it seems pretty much the same.
“The feeling in the group is we want to push up the table and get to where we were a few weeks ago in the play-offs.
“It’s a great squad and lads have great chemistry and I can’t wait to get started.”
He added: “I want to score goals and put the team up the table.
“It was only the one goal last year so I’ll be hoping to get a few more in the closing stages of the season.
“I’ll take each game as it comes and try to perform to the best of my ability.”
Goodship goes straight into Town’s squad to face Wycombe Wanderers tomorrow (3pm).
