With the green and whites on an excellent run of form, Murphy and his teammates will be looking to make it five wins on the bounce at Damson Park.
Speaking to YTTV ahead of Saturday’s National League clash, the striker said: “I don’t think I’ve ever played them before. I know they had a strong season last year and they’ve recruited well in the summer. They’re looking to be there up with us at the end of the season.
“We’ve been working tirelessly in training and we’re in a great place at the moment, but we can’t take our foot off the pedal or that quickly turns. We need to keep working hard and looking at each game individually.
“I know it’s that cliché, but you take every game as it comes, and I know every game is a hard game. We’ll do our homework on them, but the main focus will be on ourselves, we’re on a good run of form and we want to continue that.
“Everybody is happy at the moment, there’s competition for places so we’re in a really good place.”
Despite sitting out on a number of occasions through injury, the striker has notched three goals in seven appearances for Town.
However, the former Chelmsford City man is hungry for even more goals as he begins to settle to life in Somerset.
“I haven’t scored as many as I would have liked to so far. Pre-season I was scoring goals and I’ve scored a few in the league, but I would have liked more. Obviously, like any striker, I want to score goals and contribute, but as we showed against Fylde, we had three different goal scorers, so we have threats all over the pitch.
“I’ve definitely had far too many loans and not settled anywhere yet. Since I’ve come here, I’ve found that the managers and players have been great with me, so I’ve settled nicely. It’s too early to say it feels like home but it’s definitely a place I can see myself playing week-in, week-out for a long time.
“The fans have been terrific, home and away they make a lot of noise and have travelled fantastically. You want to play football on a Saturday in front of people that want to watch you play so I’m really enjoying it and hopefully we can continue our form.”
