Darren Sarll’s side will be looking to carry on where they left off at the weekend, with goals from Courtney Duffus, Luke Wilkinson and Myles Hippolyte securing an emphatic 3-1 win over Notts County.
Getting the points tally on the move again after a stagnant two-and-a-half weeks, the hosts will want their ascent up the National League table to continue against a Sutton side without a win in three.
The U’s head to Somerset after a disappointing 3-0 home defeat to Maidenhead at the weekend, seeing them slip to 13th just one place below the green and whites.
In a positive few days for the hosts, new signings James Tilley and Liam O’Brien are both eligible to make their debuts in midweek after joining on Monday.
Head-to-head
Matches between the two sides have been tightly contested encounters of the years, with the Glovers boasting the narrow advantage with seven wins, three draws and six defeats.
Tuesday’s fixture will be the first since 1999 when a Ben Smith strike was enough for Town to head back to Somerset with all three points.
A memorable clash came in 1986 when 5,348 packed inside the old Huish to watch a 2-0 win thanks to goals from Dave Spencer and future Scotland international John McGinlay.
Despite the green and whites only dropping eight points at home all season, it was Sutton who retained the title and this time were promoted to the Conference. It would be another couple of seasons before Yeovil joined them at the higher level.
Officials
Tuesday’s match will be overseen by Matthew Russell.
The Hampshire-based official will take charge of a fixture at Huish Park for the first time.
He’ll be assisted by Craig Scriven and Daniel Flynn with Richard Lawrence acting as fourth official.
