The Glovers are in the midst of a relegation battle at the bottom of the division and will look to extend their current two point gap above the bottom two.
Coming into the fixture off the back of four straight defeats, Neale Marmon will hope his first game in interim charge of the team will see a turnaround in fortunes.
Last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at promotion chasing MK Dons saw Darren Way’s three-year tenure come to an end prior to the visit of Michael Flynn’s side on Saturday.
The South Wales outfit head to Somerset in 14th place in League Two, with an outside chance of still making the play-offs should results elsewhere go their way between now and May.
The Exiles head across the border in patchy form, having won two and lost two in their last four outings.
Former Glover Matty Dolan is likely to be involved at Huish Park, with Keanu Marsh-Brown and Josh Sheehan taking the former Town contingent to three.
Head-to-head
Saturday will be the eighth competitive meeting between the two sides since 2015.
Both sides are tied with three victories each, although the Exiles have won three of the last four.
Town’s sole win was a memorable one, however, as the green and whites came away from Rodney Parade in September with a 6-0 win – their biggest ever victory since entering the EFL.
Officials
Nicholas Kinseley will be the man in the middle on Saturday.
It’ll be his second match of the campaign involving the Glovers, after taking charge of the 1-0 loss to Bury at Huish Park in January.
On Saturday, he’ll be assisted by Michael Webb and Darren Wilding with Gary Parsons acting as fourth official.
