The Glovers will go the extra mile for charity next month when a group of runners pound the pavements from Huish Park to Swindon Town.
Instead of taking the coach, train or car to the County Ground for Yeovil Town’s npower League One clash with the Robins on Saturday, November 17 approximately 30 fund-raisers will run the 80-mile trip in aid of the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance and the club’s Community Sports Trust.
The runners expect to leave Huish Park during the afternoon of Friday, November 16, completing the challenge in time for the game.
Organised in conjunction with the Yeovil Town Road Running Club, who start weekly runs from the Glovers’ home, the event will be split into five-mile relays with participants completing at least one leg.
