The Glovers went a goal down early in the first but Sam Hoskins drew the Glovers level just before the interval.

Town started the second half brightly and took the lead thanks to another Hoskins goal, which took a deflection off former Yeovil under 18’s defender Mitch Brundle. 

Liverpool loanee Michael Ngoo made it 3-1 before striker Hoskins missed his chance of a hat-trick when his penalty was saved by Parish in the Bristol City goal.
