The Glovers looked set to pick up their second 1-0 win of the week against the Hatters after Courtney Duffus strike, before Adam Thomas struck late on for the visitors.
Having to settle for a share of the spoils and take four points from their last two games, Sarll is looking for his side to kill games off.
Speaking to YTTV, he said: “To concede two goals in three games is not the worst. If we did that as a stat throughout the whole season, we wouldn’t be far away.
“But, like I’ve said, we now need to complement that box with the other box, and make sure we are a little bit more effective, ruthless and violent in their box and make sure we kill games off.
“I just felt there was a lot of attack versus defence moments in the second half where we played out and we played around them, when they tired after their Tuesday night game, and I just thought one more and that would be nice. Then we could just see the game out. That was my biggest disappointment of the second half definitely.”
The green and whites were unable to call upon three players due to injury.
Myles Hippolyte, Carl Dickinson and Luke Wilkinson were all sat in the stands to leave Sarll needing further reinforcements.
” think a concussion is very delicate with head injuries and trauma. Myles is following standards and procedures and he’s working hard to retain his fitness. Luke Wilkinson had a progressive week last week as did Carl Dickinson, but again they’re still a way off.
“But to try to hold our hat on three, when we’ve played the same team really – we’ve started the twelve players in three games – to hold out on three players for them to come back is quite damning. I’m only being honest and I’m only thinking what supporters would think. To have fifteen players to select is a bit of an indication of where we are.”
