The Glovers welcome Stevenage to Huish Park on Saturday after overcoming the Premier League youngsters on penalties.
Way made six changes to his starting line-up in midweek and the sextet have stuck their hand up for a Sky Bet League Two start.
“I’ve got decisions to make and I love making them as a manager,” Way told iFollow Glovers.
“With the squad we’ve got, everyone keeps saying it’s better than last year, but as a young manager I have to be patient with young players.
“Every day they’re growing and getting stronger together and I think their performances are improving.
“The group are giving their maximum and there’s one thing I know is I can trust them.”
Stevenage sit ninth in League Two, dropping out the play-offs after a narrow defeat to Forest Green Rovers.
Yeovil drew twice against Boro last season and Way is anticipating a dissimilar outfit to what they faced on Wednesday.
“They’ll play in a completely different way, with two forwards in a 4-4-2 up front,” he said.
“They’ll look to get in behind with their pace and power.
“They can be direct at times and try and switch the play quick on us but we’ve got to make sure we keep improving every day in training and stick together.”
Tickets for the match remain on sale online and via the Huish Park ticket office either in person or by calling 01935 847888.
