Neale Marmon’s side come into the season finale unable to avoid relegation after having their fate sealed last weekend at Northampton.
Results elsewhere meant a 2-2 draw on the road wasn’t good enough to take the relegation battle to the final day, despite strikes from Tristan Abrahams and Jake Gray.
It means the meeting with the Cumbrians will mark the end of Town’s 16-year stay in the EFL, whilst Steven Pressley’s side have an outside chance of making the play-offs.
Currently three points outside of the top seven, the visitors will have to secure victory in Somerset and hope results elsewhere go their way.
Up against the green and whites, Marmon will have no fresh injury concerns to mull over with Rhys Browne (hamstring), Gary Warren (hamstring) and Josh Grant (achilles) still unavailable, alongside the suspended Adel Gafaiti.
Head-to-head
Saturday will be the 26th meeting between the two sides with the Glovers looking to record the double for the first time since 2011.
Tom James’ stoppage time free-kick earned Town all three points at Brunton Park in October, having failed to win in their last 12 encounters with United.
Officials
Matthew Donohue will be the man in the middle at Huish Park.
It will be his second visit to Somerset this season after taking charge of the 3-0 loss to Swindon in September.
This time around he’ll be assisted by Justin Amey and Marvyn Amphlett with Richard Hulme acting as fourth official.
