After a spectacular September where Yeovil gained maximum points, Darren Sarll has been awarded the National League’s manager of the month award.
The month began with victory over Sutton United. Tom Bradbury’s second half strike was enough for the Glovers to secure all three points.
Town then followed up with a brilliant away performance. Gold Omotayo struck twice against Halifax Town for the Glovers to topple the side who was then sitting at the top of the league.
A week later the Glovers would beat last season’s play-off finalists and FA Trophy holder AFC Fylde in an exciting 3-2 encounter at Huish Park.
A battling performance away to Solihull saw the Glovers once again take three points. Luke Wilkinson was the star of the show that afternoon, scoring and then spending the last ten minutes in goal.
The final week of the month saw two victories, the first away to Aldershot where the green and whites produced a fine attacking performance, topped off by a spectacular Rhys Murphy goal.
The final game of the month came as Yeovil toppled the unbeaten league leaders Bromley at Huish Park. In an event-filled game will be remembered for years to come, Town came out the 3-1 victors in front of a crowd of 3,960.
