The Glovers travel to take on Frome Town in a charity match this Saturday in aid of Jamie who suffered life-changing injuries having been electrocuted at work in December 2016.
A well-known semi-professional footballer in the local area, the inspirational character has received words of support from former Manchester United manager Sir Alex ahead of the friendly.
Speaking to YTFC.net, Ferguson said: “I would like to send on my best wishes to Jamie who has gone through an unbelievably tough time.
“Having learned of Jamie’s situation and how brave he has been, I only feel admiration towards him.”
He added: “Saturday’s charity match will be a great occasion and one which everyone should support.”
Having been in contact with those closest to Jamie, Yeovil manager Darren Way agreed to take his side to North Somerset as part of their pre-season schedule.
Tickets can be purchased on the day from the Special Effect Stadium with the match getting underway at three o’clock.
