Yeovil Town are pleased to confirm that close to 2,000 season tickets were sold ahead of yesterday’s early bird deadline.

Chairman John Fry said: "We are over the moon with the response to the early bird offer and we have seen a number fans return after not renewing last season.

"I would personally like to thank those supporters who have purchased their season ticket already and hope they enjoy the season under manager Paul Sturrock at Huish Park."

Manager Paul Sturrock said: "I am delighted to hear the news that season ticket sales are positive and the supporters are showing their support towards to club by purchasing their season tickets early.

"Selling this amount of season tickets this early shows the support we have here at Yeovil Town and it also shows how keen supporters are for the season to start."

Season tickets remain on sale online and from the Huish Park ticket office.
