Ready to take on Maidenhead United at Huish Park on Saturday (3pm), the 21-year-old told YTTV: “I’ve loved playing in every game so far. In my performances, I think I have played well. We’ve only conceded four goals in five games and it’s my job to keep the ball out the net.

“We could have had a few more clean sheets if we cut out silly errors. I just need to keep training well and doing the right things so when we step out on that pitch, we can get three points.

“There’s not one ‘big-time Charlie,’ nobody thinks they’re better than what others are and we’ve all really gelled. The banter is flying. I’ve taken a bit of stick myself, but it’s been brilliant and there’s great harmony.

“At the same time, if training has not been up to scratch, the people who will joke with you are the first to grill you and tell you where you’ve gone wrong. It’s not a negative environment at all, it’s a new manager, a virtually brand-new team with everyone positive and on the up.”

The Magpies head to Somerset having suffered just one loss so far this season and fresh from a 4-1 thrashing of Chorley last time out.

However, Bradbury is only focused on the performance of the green and whites.

“Before any game, the gaffer tells us what their strengths and weaknesses are. If we play to our strengths, especially at home we have the talent to beat them and anybody else in this league.

“You do your homework and give your A-Game. If we play to our strengths, we should get three points.”
