Ryan Dickson will remain a Yeovil Town player for two more years after signing a new deal.
The 29-year-old made 42 appearances last term, scoring two match winning goals against Accrington Stanley and Mansfield.
Speaking to ytfc.net manager Darren Way said: "Ryan had an option in his contract to extend for a further year, but I am delighted that he sees his future here for longer than that year. He had other options, so I am glad he has chosen to commit his future to Yeovil Town.
"Since I took over as manager, Ryan has been superb and a pleasure to work with. His two goals in two games will stick in a lot of people’s memories. It is not very often you get a left-back scoring two in two games!"
Ryan said: "I am over the moon to extend my stay at Huish Park by a further two years. I am extremely excited about next season, everyone at the club has worked so hard to create a togetherness and positive atmosphere, which has driven us all forward in such a short space of time.
"It has been a fantastic football club to work for and it would be silly not to stay on board. The club is now heading the right direction and I think everyone can see that."
