Gary Johnson has added to his squad with the signing of free agent Liam Davis.

26-year-old Liam joins The Glovers on a two-year deal subject to paperwork and a medical after impressing against Forest Green Rovers.

Davis started his career as a youngster at Fulham before signing for Coventry City in 2005 where he made 11 appearances for the Sky Blues.

In 2008 the left sided player signed for Northampton Town where he played under Gary Johnson and made over 80 appearances. In 2011 he signed for Oxford United where he made over 50 appearances for the men in yellow.
