David has been a Director of the Trust since August 2013 and is also Yeovil Town FC’s Supporter Director and Business Development Manager, as well as being a Governor at Yeovil College.

David succeeds Alan Chamberlain who has been the Trust’s Acting Chairman since last summer.

Commenting on his appointment, David said: ‘I would like to thank Alan Chamberlain for his stewardship of the Trust and I sincerely hope to build on the legacy Alan and other past Trust Chairman have created.

“I see clear opportunities for the Trust to expand its work in sporting and educational opportunities for all, irrespective of ability. The Trust has a dedicated team of coaches and staff and my aim is to increase the Trust’s effectiveness by building stronger links with key partner organisations.”

Living in Yeovil, David has long been an advocate for the Town and has previously been Chairman of Yeovil Town Centre Partnership, Yeovil Town Ladies FC, General Manager of the Quedam Shopping Centre and President of Yeovil Chamber of Trade.
