Yeovil Town midfielder Lawson D’Ath says the squad are ‘focused’ on themselves ahead of the promotion clash with Bromley on Saturday (3pm).
After victory against the Ravens at Huish Park earlier in the season, D’Ath and his teammates are determined to repeat the act this weekend.
Speaking to YTTV, the midfielder said;
“Every game is different, some weeks teams turn up and they can be good, some weeks not so much. So, we’ll just take it one game at a time and when the game starts, we can go from there.
“We don’t concentrate on who we’re facing, it’s all about concentrating on ourselves at this time of the year.
“All we do is look to the next game – we’re not thinking, two, three, four games ahead. It’s all about ourselves, and if we’re picking points up, that is all that matters.
“The rest of the table obviously takes care of itself, when you get to later on in the season you might start having a look. Bromley have every right to be up there with us if they’re getting results.”
Bromley’s home ground; Hayes Lane has an artificial surface but D’Ath insists this will make no difference to how the Glovers prepare.
“It’s similar to what we’re used to. I’ve grown up playing on 3G pitches all my life.
“I’m used to the conditions, so it won’t make a massive difference.”
