Yeovil Town are pleased to announce the signing of free agent Darren Ward.
Experienced defender Darren has joined the Glovers on a contract until January 2016.
The centre back started his career at Watford before moving to Millwall in 2001 where he made over 140 appearances for the Lions. Whilst at The Den he played in the 2004 FA Cup defeat at the hands of Manchester United.
In 2005 he moved to Crystal Palace before joining Wolves in 2007. He spent time on loan at Watford, Charlton Athletic and Millwall whilst at Wolves before rejoining Millwall on a permanent deal in 2010 where he made a further 87 appearances for the Lions.
Most recently Darren made nearly 60 appearances for Swindon Town before spending time on loan at Crawley Town.
Darren goes straight into the squad to play Maidstone United today in the FA Cup first round.
