Yeovil Town have regrettably had to withdraw from the Somerset Premier Cup competition this season due to heavy fixture back log.
This means the club will be unable to fulfil its fixture against Frome Town this month.
With the club in a delicate situation in the Championship it is imperative they endeavour to retain their membership of that League.
With a very small squad of players, no reserve or youth players the club have been plagued with injuries this season.
To fulfil another 20 league games in less than 13 weeks with player resources stretched to the limit the club felt it had no alternative than to withdraw.
The club have no wish to embarrass the Somerset FA or Frome Town by bringing in non- contract players to fulfil the Frome fixture.
Yeovil Town will of course recompense Frome Town by offering a pre-season fixture at Badgers Hill at the start of the 2014/2015 with all proceeds being retained by Frome Town.
