The Club is aware of rumours online about the alleged mis-conduct of the club chairman and other staff.  This forms part of a long running campaign of harassment by certain known individuals, using social media and online reporting to pursue their private complaints in the guise of public interest reporting.  They have harassed staff, contacted club sponsors and targeted others who support the club hierarchy.  Their behaviour is ongoing.

One such individual is Mr Stephen Day.  He is currently on bail to the Court awaiting trial for harassing club staff and posting malicious communications. He is also on police bail for harassing and sharing intimate images of club staff.  He has bail conditions not post anything online relating to the club or the club chairman.  He is also on court bail for other offences of harassment not connected to the club or its staff, but using very similar methods.  He has repeatedly breached his bail conditions.  Mr Day also hides behind other anonymous online accounts and identities.

Another such individual is a known female adult.  She has also harassed club staff and its sponsors.  Including by having shared intimate images of club staff unlawfully.  She also hides behinds anonymous online accounts and identities.  This has all been repeatedly reported to the police and is being investigated.

The behaviour of these individuals, who have operated both individually and also together, along with those that encourage them online, is causing significant damage to the club and the community.  The club will not tolerate public online abuse.  The thousands of fans who support the club are being impacted by the mindless and selfish behaviour of a few and the community of Yeovil deserves better.  The club continues to co-operate fully with the police and the courts in bringing any such offender to justice.
