Yeovil Town Football Club are pleased to inform supporters that Ian Koerner, who fell ill following yesterday’s match against AFC Fylde, was discharged from hospital overnight and has been able to return to Yeovil.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at AFC Fylde, whose swift response made all the difference, and especially to our own medical team, Joe Stacey and Tony Boreham, for their outstanding care and professionalism.

Everyone at the club sends their best wishes to Ian as he continues his recovery. The club will continue to offer support to Ian’s grandson Corey and his family following what was a distressing incident.

We wish Ian all the best in his recovery.
