Arthur was one of the Glovers most faithful fans and followed Yeovil for over 70 years, starting in the 1940s.

Not many fans can claim to have seen all of the most iconic Yeovil games over such an impressive period, including the famous FA Cup win over Sunderland in 1949.

In the stands on that day almost seven decades ago, Arthur has been part of Town’s rise through the divisions from virtually the start.

Aside from recording its sadness at Arthur’s passing, Yeovil Town FC would also like to salute Arthur’s decades of faithful support for the club.
