Yeovil Town’s EPDP programme has won the National College 7-a-side competition in Nottingham.

The Glovers represented the South West and enjoyed an unbeaten weekend, beating teams from across the nation. Yeovil’s victory in the football competition helped the South West win overall in the multi-sport event.

Benjani Jr. was the the competition’s top scorer, but it was a real team effort, with goals shared across the team along with a strong defensive effort.

This follows an excellent campaign for the club’s EPDP side, with the Glovers reaching the National College Cup quarter finals, and a number of individuals spending time with the first team in training and the Somerset Premier Cup.
