We have been in continued communication with the family of the fan who was taken ill at Monday’s fixture against Weymouth and are able to supply the following update:

“She is receiving the best possible care from the staff at Dorchester Hospital and hopes to be able to be released very soon. She sends her thanks to the emergency services, especially the Dorset & Somerset Air Ambulance, who were paramount to saving her life with their quick actions. She would like to say a massive thank you to all the supporters and players for their outpouring of support that she has received.”

As a football club, we are delighted to hear such a positive update following the distressing events that lead to the abandonment of Monday’s National League South fixture. We are still in communication with the FA and National League regarding the outcome of the fixture.
