Prior to Yeovil Town’s National League clash with Scunthorpe United, some very important work was taking place outside Huish Park.
Yeovil fan Alex White set-up a collection point to collect donations for the Lord’s Larder food bank ahead of Christmas.
Prior to the game, Alex and the club sent the message, asking for support, you certainly responded! At his stall, Alex collected 357 vital food and toiletry items.
Alongside the food and toiletry collections, Alex also raised £251.81 from a bucket collection and a further £450 (at the time of writing), via JustGiving.
We would like to place our thanks to Alex for setting up such an important scheme at Huish Park and to all the supporters in attendance who donated so generously.
You can still donate to Alex’s JustGiving page, linked HERE.
