Yeovil Town manager Darren Sarll has been named the National League’s manager of the month for November 2021.
In what was an extremely successful month for the Glovers, Sarll’s young side went unbeaten in the league, whilst advancing in the FA Cup with a 5-0 victory over Yate Town.
There were many memorable moments across the month, most notably the wins on the road, firstly against Dagenham & Redbridge where Town secured a 0-1 victory against a side which sat in the play-offs at the time.
Then came a trip to Bromley, who at the time held the longest unbeaten run in the National League, however goals from Tom Knowles and Charlie Wakefield put a stop to that as Sarll’s side were the 1-2 victors at Hayes Lane.
Despite some early season struggles at home, this didn’t continue as Town picked up four points from the six available at Huish Park.
To cap off a stellar month, a make-shift Yeovil side travelled to Wrexham and upset the league’s big spenders with a 0-2 victory at the Racecourse Ground.
Since November came to a close, Yeovil’s form hasn’t declined, with back-to-back victories at Huish Park, firstly in the FA Cup as Sarll beat his former side Stevenage before a victory over Barnet ensured Town went ten games unbeaten (11 if you count the Somerset Premier Cup!)
Congratulations Boss!
