The Glovers claimed a hard-fought draw at Mansfield Town on Saturday and could have won it with Sam Surridge hitting the crossbar and Matt Worthington seeing his shot excellently stopped by Conrad Logan.
It was just the fifth point the Green and Whites have won away from home this term and Bailey firmly believes more will follow sooner rather than later.
He told iFollow Glovers: “The results (away from home) don’t look good for us but we always believe in ourselves no matter what.
“We always stick together, us and the staff, and It’s easy to say it’ll come soon but I genuinely feel the way we’re acting and working hard day-in, day-out on the training ground, it’ll turn round.
“We’re relentless with our work and it’ll come sooner or later.”
Bailey continued: “We knew it wasn’t going to be easy coming (to Field Mill), no game in League Two is but Mansfield have spent a bit this season, are expected to go up and all in all it’s a good point.
“Every game in League Two is a battle and that’s part of winning the game; if you can win the battle, you’ve got half a chance.
“Every team is physical now with big boys and we’ve just got to become accustomed to that and battle back ourselves.
“It’s all about competing. We have to compete and earn the right to play before trying to play our fancy way. You have to battle hard and win territory.
“We’re just itching for the next game now.”
