The 20-year-old is spending the 2018/19 campaign with Town from the North East and grabbed an assist in his first start for the club in last Friday’s 4-0 win at Notts County.
After impressing on loan at York City last season the diminutive midfielder is making his first appearances in the EFL but has already made an impression.
Speaking to YTFC.net, Pattison is keen to keep building on his solid start in green and white.
“It’s been really good and easy to settle in. I was quite surprised with how quick the lads accepted me into the group but we’re a young group and everyone tight-knit.
“I wanted to come and be around a league club and I got my chance quite early, I came on against Mansfield and it’s gone well from there.
“I just want to keep playing well and keep my place in the starting eleven, being away from home for the first time is something I relish. I’m loving it so far.”
After picking up a first win of the season at Meadow Lane, Town can enjoy back-to-back home league fixtures with Oldham and Stevenage both heading to Somerset.
With three points under their belt, Pattison is wanting to build some momentum.
“The win had been coming,” he said. “Against Villa we were unlucky and thoroughly deserved to win, but at Notts County we took our chances and didn’t concede.
“That’s what we’ve got to do and now we need to keep going. If we keep the momentum gathered from the last few games there’s no doubt we’ll win games.”
