Yeovil Town are delighted to confirm the capture of defender Ryan Burke on loan from Birmingham City until January 17th.
Originally from Ireland, Burke played for Crumlin United and later St.Patrick’s Athletic before a successful trial in the ‘Second City’ in 2017.
The full-back has enjoyed a number of successful years within the Blues academy, earning a professional contract and making his first team debut in the Championship last season as a substitute against Stoke City.
Burke signs for the Glovers in the hunt for first team football, and when he heard Town were interested, it was an easy decision for the 19-year old: “I was looking to go out on loan and when I heard Yeovil were interested in me, I was delighted.
“The first thing I thought was I want to get down there right away and just get playing.
“It’s a great club, great stadium, and I hear there’s a great set of fans too so I’m really looking forward to getting started.”
Everyone at Yeovil Town Football Club wishes Ryan all the best during his spell in Somerset.
