Another Saturday has rolled around and we’re still reeling off last weekend’s winning tips so here we go again with another Ben’s Bets.

This may come as no surprise that we are going for a home favourite, but when Derby host Wigan the form table, the league table and the betting odds are in agreement, this match will figure on most accumulators this Saturday.

Odds may be short, but I think a good, solid home win is just what we need.

Derby are unbeaten in six home games, have won five of the last six regardless of destination and haven’t conceded a goal for well over 600 minutes of action.

Oh, and they’ve just signed England goalkeeper Jack Butland, just for good measure.

Wigan haven’t scored in three of their last four, haven’t won in their last six on the road and lie just above the relegation zone.

This is only going one way, it’s a heavy home win.

Into League One and well, I’m starting to sound a bit like a broken record, but it’s tough to back against Bristol City these days – and that’s not easy to say as a Yeovil fan!

City travel to Barnsley and are still favourites, but not at odds that suggest we leave them alone.

The Robins are Even money, not bad considering the stats.

Top of the table, six points clear of anyone else and a +15 goal difference suggest they are one of the sides to fear in this division, but most impressively, they are still unbeaten in the league.

Their opponents, Barnsley sit in the middle of the bottom half with a negative goal difference and form stats that don’t add up.

Losing at home is never a good thing and Barnsley have done just that in four out of their last six home ties, including last time out against Notts County.

With all of these stats seemingly suggesting an away win, I’m surprised to see Evens on offer and they go straight into the treble.

Finally in League Two and I’m staying with a side in the South West.

Plymouth Argyle face Cheltenham Town and I think the Pilgrim’s home form is too good to turn down despite the quality of their opponents.

Plymouth, with former Glover Reuben Reid up front have only lost once on home soil this season and have scored 10 goals in the process.

The greens have won their last three on home soil and face a side who may have won on the road last week, don’t travel all that well.

Cheltenham have lost in Shrewsbury, Tranmere and Luton this season and I’m hoping to have found the value in the League Two betting.

Plymouth to beat Cheltenham at 13/10

Combined, these odds come together at just shy of 7/1.
