With Christmas fast approaching, here at YTFC.net, we have picked out three teams that could earn you a little extra pocket money to hit the shops with, by signing up with SkyBet, the Football League’s principal sponsors you can have a bet on this treble and hopefully we’ll be looking at a winner by Saturday evening.
Firstly, in the Championship it is becoming very easy to back against Blackpool this season, rock bottom of the league with just the one point collected from the last six games they are heading towards relegation at an alarming rate.
This Saturday, they host Bolton, a local derby against a side very much on the upturn following the appointment of a new manager.
Neil Lennon has taken the reigns at the Reebok and they have won their last two and four in their last six. Lying third in the form table, this could be an away win and more misery could be in store for the Tangerines.
Bolton to beat Blackpool @ 6/5.
Next up we take a look at League One and the conquerors of Yeovil last weekend Fleetwood Town could well be in for back to back wins.
The Cod Army are back on home soil, where they are yet to suffer a defeat and host a Walsall side in 16th place in the league.
The Saddlers have also relied on home form and their travels have resulted in just one win this campaign, so I’m expecting a tight clash, but one which ends in another home win.
Fleetwood to beat Walsall @ 13/10
Finally into League Two and we look at one club seemingly ducking under the radar of most sides in Plymouth Argyle.
The Pilgrims are up to fifth in the table (third in the form table) and look like they could beat just about anyone in the division. They travel to Mansfield who are not having it quite their own way.
The Stags were held to a 1-1 draw in the FA Cup at home to non-league Concord Rangers during midweek and with their league position has them looking nervously over their shoulders.
Plymouth had their feet up during midweek, resting while Mansfield played out that draw in the cup and in Reuben Reid they have one of the country’s in form marksmen.
It’s an away win for me here, with a huge goal difference building for the Devon side, I wouldn’t bet against a few more goals and a comfortable win for the travelling fans.
Plymouth to beat Mansfield @ 7/5.
Not a single one of the three sides are at odds of shorter than Even money, not bad for three teams I think are easy to get behind.
Together, the combined odds are over 11/1 meaning that a fiver stake returns a total exceeding £60.
Of course, as we always suggest, please bet to the level you are comfortable with.

The Glovers have a tricky away game at Notts County and it’s no surprise to see the Magpies as favourites. However, the Glovers have never been one to play to the bookmaker’s odds and so, even the 2/1 on a Yeovil win is rather tempting.
But dig a little deeper and if we take that positivity and combine it with a defence looking more solid by the game and a strike force not quite hitting the target, a low scoring Yeovil win is still rather tempting.
Yeovil to win and UNDER 2.5 goals in the game… 5/1.
