Yeovil Town attacker Ollie Bassett will return to Huish Park on Thursday after a three-day training camp with the Northern Ireland Under-19 squad.
Based at Lilleshall National Sports and Conferencing Centre in Shropshire, Bassett was part of the squad that took on a Wolverhampton Wanderers development squad and a Stoke City development squad on Monday and Tuesday respectively.
The 18-year-old played 30 minutes in the 1-1 draw with Wolves before completing 90 minutes during the 1-0 win over Stoke.
Under-19 manager Stephen Craigan used the camp as an opportunity to cast an eye over a number of new players – including Bassett – ahead of three European Under-19 Championship qualifiers in October.
After making his Northern Ireland Under-19 debut, Bassett was delighted to have been part of the squad.
He said: “It was a good experience and it’s great to get my first call-up. They were a good group of lads so it was great to go away and get my first taste of international football.
“It was good to get some game time on the international scene.”
