The encounter will be Town’s fifth pre-season fixture of the summer, with Rovers following on from Bristol City’s visit to Somerset 10 days previous.
It will be the first meeting between the two sides since October 2016, when Darrell Clarke’s side were victorious on penalties in the Checkatrade Trophy group stage following a 0-0 draw at the Memorial Ground.
The fixture will offer home supporters the chance to once again see six of the seven summer arrivals in action, with Rhys Browne, Jake Gray, Connor Smith, Olufela Olomola, James Bailey and Keston Davies all on display.
Defender Stephane Zubar will sit out the third match in a row following an injury picked up at the start of pre-season, whilst goalkeeper Artur Krysiak continues his comeback from an ankle injury sustained towards the end of last season.
After the Family Football Festival at Huish Park 10 days ago, Yeovil Town Community Sports Trust will be hosting a tournament for their Under-13,14 and 15s, with the final being played on the Huish Park pitch at half-time.
Fans are advised to purchase tickets in advance to avoid matchday queues, with copies of Green & White programme costing just £1.
