With some festive cheer to match, here’s all that’s happening at Huish Park throughout the day:
Festive pre-match beverages
Both home and away supporters can enjoy pre-match refreshment in the marquee, situated next to the 3G surface at Huish Park. Open to 250 fans on a first come, first served basis the marquee will be open from 12.30 with hot food also available.
Half-time entertainment
As part of an ongoing partnership between the Octagon Theatre, YTFC and the Western Gazette, half-time entertainment will be on offer in the form of Chloe Gough from Castaways. Singing a Sam Smith song, 12-year-old Chloe will be performing for both sets of supporters during the break.
Fostering in Somerset
YTFC are joining forces with Fostering on Somerset for an afternoon of family-fun and awareness. Sparky, the cuddly fostering dragon, will be joining the Jolly Green Giant throughout the day with members of the fostering team also present to share information on the work they do. You can catch them around the ground, so keep an eye out for Sparky and Jolly!
Booze Bar
Travelling supporters from Exeter can also use the Booze Bar situated behind the Radio Cabs Away End upon arrival at Huish Park. Stocking a variety of alcoholic drinks, fans can make the most of the facility in the build-up to kick-off.
Len Copland
Local photographer Len Copland, who has spent 25 years as an editorial, PR and wedding photographer, is our Guest of Honour for the visit of the Grecians to acknowledge the work Len has done in recording some of the most iconic moments in Yeovil Town FC’s history over the last quarter of a century. After an amazing career at the Western Gazette, Len now works on a freelance basis and the club will be making a presentation to Len today to thank him for his part in recording the YTFC story during his time at the local newspaper.
