The 24-year-old, who has previously plied his trade in England, returned earlier this summer after a spell with Ukrainian Premier League team FC Zirka Kropyvnytskyi.
Starting out at Nancy before completing his Academy graduation with both Rangers and Norwich City, Gafaiti also spent time out on loan in League One with Oldham Athletic in 2014 whilst on the books at Carrow Road.
Capped at Under-20 level with Algeria, the French-born defender returned to England earlier this season to link up with Endorsed Academy and its partner club Mousehole AFC in Cornwall in order to find an EFL club.
As a result of Endorsed Academy’s coaching setup and contacts within the game, Gafaiti was quickly provided with an opportunity to train with the Glovers, impressing manager Darren Way to sign and go straight into the squad for Saturday’s Sky Bet League Two encounter with Macclesfield Town.
Commenting on his latest recruit, Town’s boss said: “Adel is a whole-hearted and committed player with a hunger and desire to win.
“He has impressed me from the moment he joined us at Huish Park and shares the values we hold within the squad.
“I’m looking forward to working with Adel on a regular basis and am excited to see his continued development.”
