The French forward joined on loan from Barnet on transfer deadline day and has started four times for the Glovers.
The 32-year-old is yet to net in a green and white shirt or feature in a Yeovil victory, something that hopes to rectify in the near future.
“I’m pleased (with the game time),” he told YTFC’s official YouTube channel.
“The only thing for me now is for the team to win and I want to score too.
“I’m playing but I know I can do better and I want to show people.”
Akpa Akpro was paired with Francois Zoko in Saturday’s draw at Notts County as boss Darren Way opted for a 3-5-2 formation.
Former Shrewsbury Town man Akpa Akpro says the squad practiced the new shape in the week ahead of the match and believes they executed it well on their way to a valuable point.
He said: “We worked hard on it and the players responded quite well to what the gaffer wanted.
“We kept a clean and I think it was a good team performance. Maybe not the best but we showed good desire to not concede.
“Unfortunately we didn’t score but it was quite a tight game with not many opportunities for both sides. It was a very important point.”
