The 13-year-old from Somerset put pen to paper on a deal with the Glovers a month ago today and enjoyed a day’s training with Darren Way’s squad.
Diagnosed with Leukaemia Atypical CML Monomonasomie 7 and GATA 2, Daryl is possibly the only child in the UK to have had this very rare condition.
After an unsuccessful bone marrow transplant last year, the Allinson family had to fundraise £100,000 to fund and support Daryl through a second transplant.
Town boss Way said: “Daryl is a fantastic role model for everyone and a shining example of what positivity and fortitude can achieve.”
